On April 22, 2014 the Canadian Climate Forum hosted a special session in Ottawa for the public and the media, to present and explain the following recently released reports from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (http://www.ipcc.ch/) :  

  • The Physical Science Basis
  • Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability; and
  • Mitigation of Climate Change

The event was moderated by Gordon McBean, Chair of the Canadian Climate Forum. Four Canadian experts who had been involved in the preparation of the reports, presented main elements, focusing particularly on the implications for Canada: Paul Kovacs (Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction); Debra Davidson University of Alberta); Mike Brklacich (Carleton University); and Erik Haites (Margaree Consultants Inc.).
