Description: This network uses the unique Polar Environment Atmospheric Research Laboratory (PEARL) on Ellesmere Island to study atmospheric effects of air quality, climate, and the ozone layer. The PEARL facility is the world’s most northerly continuous atmospheric monitoring research facility and is 1,100 km from the North Pole.
