Description: Air pollution is a major health consideration for certain sectors of the Canadian population and in many regions of the world. This network contributed to a major federal government study focused on the Fraser Valley, and helped lead to a better understanding of the role and behaviour of particulate matter in the atmosphere. Sound scientific results have helped support the development of public policy related to air quality and to health.
