CFCAS Annual Report 2011-2012

The 2011-2012 Annual Report of the Canadian Foundation for Climate and Atmospheric Science (CFCAS) highlights activities supporting research and the development of expertise on water security, air quality, extreme weather, climate, and ocean-atmosphere conditions. Canada needs such information and expertise for its economic development and the safety and security of its citizens.

The Foundation’s federal mandate ended in March 2012; but its commitment to the generation and use of scientific knowledge remains strong. It has adjusted its mission to include the consolidation of knowledge and adaptation to changing conditions. It has also changed its name to the Canadian Climate Forum to reflect this new direction.
